Darlene Madriz serves as Board Secretary of Healthy H.E.A.R.T.S., bringing more than 15 years of nursing experience in high-risk Labor & Delivery, women’s health, and wellness education to the organization’s leadership.
Throughout her career, Darlene has remained deeply committed to serving underserved and vulnerable individuals and families. Her experiences in healthcare have strengthened her passion for equitable, trauma-informed, and compassionate care and her belief that access to education, health resources, and supportive relationships can have a lasting impact during some of life’s most critical transitions.
As a leader with Healthy H.E.A.R.T.S., Darlene brings valuable expertise in program development, workflow improvement, bilingual communication, health education, and community partnership building. Her knowledge and perspective help strengthen the organization’s ability to connect individuals with resources, promote whole-person wellness, and create supportive pathways toward greater stability and independence.

Beyond her professional and Board service, Darlene is a devoted wife and mother of two and a steadfast source of encouragement and support for her family.
