Delise Chavers serves on the Board of Directors of Healthy H.E.A.R.T.S., bringing more than 30 years of professional experience across insurance, education, and residential construction, along with a longstanding commitment to advocacy, mentorship, and helping others build stable and sustainable futures.

After relocating to Texas, Delise became a certified educator and has served middle school students since 2006. Her years in education have strengthened her understanding of the importance of encouragement, consistency, positive relationships, and access to opportunities during the formative years leading into adulthood. Combined with her diverse professional background, Delise brings valuable experience in leadership, communication, project management, problem-solving, and working collaboratively toward meaningful goals.

Guided by Healthy H.E.A.R.T.S.’ WE CARE values of Wellness, Empowerment, Compassion, Accountability, Respect, and Education, Delise is passionate about helping young women recognize their potential, develop confidence, and gain the knowledge and practical skills necessary to create stable and independent futures. Her background in education and mentorship aligns closely with the organization’s commitment to meeting individuals where they are and walking alongside them as they navigate critical life transitions.

Family-oriented and community-minded, Delise has been happily married for more than 20 years and is a proud mother and grandmother. Outside of her professional and Board responsibilities, she enjoys spending time with family, participating in her book club, watching movies, and solving word puzzles.

Through her experience, leadership, and commitment to education and service, Delise supports the Healthy H.E.A.R.T.S. mission of creating pathways where individuals are encouraged, equipped, and empowered to move toward lasting stability and brighter futures - One Heart at a Time.
