Susan J. Harris, JD, MBA, is a mission‑driven governance and risk professional with more than 15 years of experience guiding financial institutions in building ethical, resilient, and sustainable operations. Her career has centered on designing risk management frameworks that enable large, highly regulated organizations to identify vulnerabilities, strengthen controls, and reinforce cultures of accountability and responsible stewardship. As a Senior Manager, in a large matrixed environment, she oversees major cross‑functional initiatives that require strong collaboration, extensive organizational insight, and the ability to turn complex issues into practical, actionable guidance. Her leadership is grounded in transparency, partnership, and a commitment to helping organizations operate with clarity, integrity, and purpose.
Beyond her corporate work, Susan is deeply passionate about community impact and personal development. She is an active volunteer for the New Members ministry at her church, she is a member of the ProSight Women in Risk & Assurance Steering Committee and is a dedicated Board Member for Biblical Business Training (BBT), a nonprofit committed to providing resources that help leaders apply biblical principles to their professional growth. Guided by her conviction that discovering one’s purpose can be transformational, she serves as a mentor, coach, and community leader—empowering others to aim higher, lead with integrity, and embrace change with courage and compassion. She believes that faith, empathy, and intentional learning strengthen our connectedness and build healthier, more resilient communities.
